Getting rid of KR?

I'm really getting a lot out of this conversation here.

So really, what's the best place to start to get my KR down? I don't have any Vac leaks. I'll get my exhaust leak fixed here soon. Should I give new plugs a try?

Your best bet is going to be a full size intercooler.
 


First off op what are ALL the mods you have? I won't assume everything in your SIG but it may be, so I ask. Second what temperature of weather was your scan taken?

Also I cannot believe nobody caught the whole I dropped 4 seconds off my 0-100 time. That's complete bs IMO due to the fact with 3.4 and bolt ons, street tires on stock manifolds I ran a 13.9@100mph. I highly doubt from headers you ran a 9.9 in the quarter mile, sorry, just sayin.

I too will agree with a basic 3.4 pulley car if you know what your doing and dont jump on the internet bandwagon of hai and headers for all, with 160 thernostats, etc etc head ers are not "needed" do they flow better? Obviously... but keeping it simple and working in steps always works better and nets a better result imo

OMG...I ran 4 seconds faster once because I installed headers! IT MUST BE NORMAL!
 
I didn't do any such thing I just stated that when I installed headers it knocked 4 seconds off my 0-100 times. I can see how that could be misconstrued though.
 
Then why did you bring it up? Your headers had nothing to do with you dropping 4 seconds. Your post did nothing but help hijack this thread.
 


I brought it up to give my input on the subject. My headers had everything to do with dropping the time off my 0-100 although a dp would have maybe got me the close to the same results. My comment didn't derail the thread nearly as much as you did.

Can a car run a 3.4 WITHOUT headers? Sure... But with headers you get better flow (as it has been established no one argues with that point) so with better flow would bring better timing and/or a leaner AFR. So for the cost of MOST alternatives why not just get headers.... THAT was more along the lines of my point.
