The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
The rims I want are 18 x 8.5 with a 35mm offset, how flush are those going to be? I'm running 18x7.5 with 42 mm offset and hate how much they tuck in right now. Help?
+35mm is going to be more flush than the +42mm offset for sure. the wheels being wider also helps. that offset is pushing the area where you might have to roll your fenders, are you willing to do this?
i run 18x8 with a 35 offset and they sit flush as can be. technically the widest point on my rim is 9 inch wide. i run 245/45/18. and yes they do rub but maybe 15% of the time. i see no problem with what you want.
everything you just said will fit fine and not rub. +42mm offset isnt that bad and a wheel that is only 18x8 isnt exactly huge. with vogtland springs you'll be fine. i was lowered much more than those springs drop and ran 19s with a lower offset and it was perfect.
lol nice....I think its going to be 18x8.5 35mm 114.3 with hub rings....even if they do stick out enough to rub the fenders I don't think I'll be low enough for it to happen
I run 18x8 with a +35mm offset and a 245/45-18 tire. I am lowered on the GMPP lowering kit which is about the same drop as the vogtland springs. I had rubbing in the rear. Simple rolling of the fenders solved my rubbing issues. It's not very hard to do and takes little time to do it.
I am also looking at getting some new rims for my gxp. I would jet lie to know all the specs on the wheels (spoke pattern, hub, offset). All I need is the info for the 8" fronts, since that's what I'm gonna replace them with.
