Gas Prices!!!

That is probably expected since travel spikes at this time, even if it is a lower volume of travelers than it has been in past years.

Yeah I read that people drove 40 billion less miles this year, not sure how trustworthy that figure is but I can believe it.

damn it! Thats twice someone took it out of context! I was referring to the price, price is crazy, nothing more...haha

im not offended or anything, its actually not so bad, at the track 100 octane is almost 10$ a gallon
im going to Tune Time today in NJ lets see how cheap it is down there for 93

I didn't see any gas price increases near me; and my house is near a well travelled road that gets lots of cross traffic. Down to $1.59 for 87.

It will drop back down on Monday/Tuesday - supply and demand. Probably be another surge at the end of December with Christmas/New years, and then another drop afterwards.

^^^Good i was gonna ask if this is the start of it going back up or if its just because of the holiday. I love filling up my suv to the verry top for less than 35bucks.

Gas didnt move! its now 2.07 for 93. But I think I read the south has the cheaper gas! one good thing about being from the south! lol

depends on where you get your gas from on the east coast, and of course state taxes. Virginia has some of the lowest state gas taxes, so it's one of the cheapest east coast states. I've found New Jersey to be pretty good; I can just imagine how much it would drop if they didn't have full service only pumps...

I went to put gas in the GTP last weekend and the local BP in my town really stuck it to me. At the time, his regular was $1.69 a gallon (higher than most anyway) but when I went for the good stuff (92).... $2.59 a gallon! I mean really, 90 cents more? I put $20 in it and called it a day. No other alternatives where I live unless I drive into the city. There is one other BP in town, less than two blocks away from the other one, and they quit selling anything except 87 all together.

Well, I went to this same station on Thanksgiving. He's had his regular down to $1.47 per gallon. 92.... STILL $2.59! I went up the street and just got some 91 octane. Guess he is taking advantage of being the only place in town with 92 octane. Oh well, I was in the city tonight and got 92 at another BP for $1.69 and went ahead and filled it up. Then it snowed and got my car dirty. LOL!
