Gas Prices!!!

I paid 4.21 a gallon two days ago at Shell. It cost me 59.04 and the tank wasn't empty. I only get about 4 days out of a tank, going to work eveyday is costing a fortune. Oh well it could be worse, I could have bought an SUV.:th_shakinghead2:

its been 4.29 for BP 93 here in Nyc, for about a week, stations closer to highways tend to charge more

I'd love to get 4 days. :th_yawning: But since my recent switch to very efficient driving, I've stretched my time between fill ups to every 3 days from every 2. I should be switching jobs in about 3 weeks that will let me go a week between fill ups. It'll be around $3.80 for me to fill up on 87 tomorrow.

hahahahahahahaha i like ur sign sabre and its the truth!!! Premium fro my GTP is like 65 bucks to fill it up "still better then my old truck "1990 bronco 2 xlt" regular gas was about 78 bucks lol".

Some gas stations here are $3.88 for regular but u have to drive to find them other ones are still $3.99. Isn't funny how the E85 goes up when the gas prices go up!!! We don't use it and don't know anybody that does, the price for that is $3.40.

I paid $4.21 today at Shell too Lee. Even though I read today that cost for a barrel of gas DROPPED a little over $3 a barrel............

I wonder when we will see the price drop?

LOL NEVER :p

Guys just look back on the very first page and c what it was i think the first post was 3.30 for 93 and we were pissed off at how much gas was, i would LOVE to pay that now.

The date and time I started this thread was 01-05-2008, 02:30 AM. St. Louis has always had consistantly lower gas prices than IL. You all take it up the "tailpipe" with taxes dumped all over your gas :( I paided $4.21 the other day at my local Shell gas station. Costco was a bit cheaper at $4.10 a gallon.

And Ryan is quite right lol. Its amazing how fast it can go up in such short time (roughly 5 months). Everytime you turned on the TV or looked at news in print or the internet, economists were always guessing that gas would hit $4 a gallon in summer and then said it would not happen till December of this year. Well I guess December came early :p

This gas price stuff is just getting stupid...

Something has gotta change. I mean, I only go through a whole tank like once every three weeks. I can't imagine what it'd be like if I drove as much as I used to (tank every week).

Had to one up ya here Sabre! lol

I still think its going to go up more. I know someone runs 100 stations. He just stocked up on 5's :(

Oh man say it aint so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If this keeps up, this country is going to revolt in some shape, fashion or form sooner than later I am afraid.
