Gas Prices!!!



I think it's like $3.62 here for 87. I only fill up like once every 2-3 weeks so I'm not too sure. Living on base has its benefits. :)
 


$3.75 here in Northern VA for regular. Pisses me off though on the gas stations who don't do 10 & 20 cents more for mid-grade and premium respectively. There's only a handful of places I'll take my Impala for fill ups. It's been doing a lot of sitting as well.
 
Gas prices dropped a little to $3.89 for 87. I just saw this on a website and thought I would share.

WASHINGTON - The Energy Department says it has canceled oil shipments into the Strategic Petroleum Reserve beginning in July when the current purchase contract expires.

The move came days after Congress passed legislation requiring the president to suspend the shipment into the reserve in hopes of lowering gasoline prices.

The Energy Department said it will not sign contracts for new shipments of 76,000 barrels of oil a day for the six-month period beginning July 1. President Bush had opposed halting the shipments, arguing that such a relatively small amount of oil would not influence prices. Current shipments will continue. The reserve is 97 percent full, holding 701 million barrels of crude.
 




Filled up today, $3.99 for 93. Been doing the slow driving in my GP since it's my DD, and "losing" all those gains when I go all out in my Imp. It's just too hard to drive slow with a Supercharger.
 
Gas prices are going up by pennies every few hours...... I got gas in my wife's car in the morning 2 days ago, it was 4.09 for premium... Got gas in my car after work the same day at the same station, and it was 4.11. Went back yesterday evening to get gas for my wife's car (she had to drive a lot that day for offsite meetings), and the same station was $4.23. Crazy....
 
This gas price stuff is just getting stupid...

Something has gotta change. I mean, I only go through a whole tank like once every three weeks. I can't imagine what it'd be like if I drove as much as I used to (tank every week).
 
Well I finally paid over $4 bucks a gallon. I paid $4.10 at of all places, COSTCO. I wanted to drop a load when I saw it! A little under half a tank of gas cost me $43 bucks!

Oh well at least it's not $5 bucks a gallon..............................................YET!!!!
