gas mileage

i don't know if its me but i get ****! my dic says like 14. ill reset it'll say 21 about and then freeze at a crappy mpg. i get like 210 miles before it goes into the orange. yeah. the dic says I've only used like 13 - 14 gallons when i fill up. is this right?

best way to find your gas mileage is to calculate how many miles you drove and then divide by how much fuel it took to drive that far.

I find I get better gas mileage if I keep the gas pedal about 2" above the carpet on the floorboard. I'm still getting less than 20 MPG in this weather due to warm up time.

12.9 on my last fill up. E85, mostly in town. I usually let it warm up for a couple minutes before each trip. Oh, and my kids like to see the boost gauge max out. So that doesn't help either. LOL

'03 SE, 185k... Went on a 2,400 mile road trip last summer, averaged 33mpg. Around town, more like 16-17; but I have a lead foot.

I get between 16-22 city 25-32 on 91 octane in my 2004 gtp comp g. I have a light foot and usually only do about 65 on the highway..

26 all highway and I really tried my best. Usually 21 mpg as for full tank mileage I can't tell you because cars under the knife right now and I can't remember off hand

Got 13 mpg from 2/27 to 3/18, all city and short trips of course. 13 is ok, I'm down 2 mpg from this time last year though, which is odd. I was getting 15.1 this time last year. I have some intermittent starting issues too, I'm going to replace the upstream o2 sensor because it could help my mpg's. The original one is still in there now, it doesn't really look too good and the rear one already went bad, might as well do the important one. For $31 for an oem Ac Delco, you can't go wrong.
