• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Fuel pumps for everything! 255lph and 340lph pumps!

I bought one the 255 pumps used off a friend who switched to racetronix and I have to prime my car every single time I start it? Now a week later after the install, the car is having significant trouble starting.

Some people have issues and some dont. The check valve in the pump can actually get stuck if the pump sucks up any debree from the tank - the manufacturer cut one open from a local customer and there was something like sand stuck in it. The rest seem to be install issues or even a faulty or stuck check valve.

If the pump is getting weaker then it may be burning up for whatever reason. The venturi portion of the canister can apparently "break" and cause the pumps to die prematurely. I had a guy locally go through three or four pumps until I modified the venturi setup in the bottom of his canister.

Lastly, the most common cause of failure of pumps seem to be install issues like leaking hoses.

You may want to consider a fuel pump rewire also. These pumps draw almost/roughly twice the amperage of stock.

Thanks for the info.. I am running a venturi style canister from a 97-00. I also already have a rewire. I think I'm just going to switch to a Racetronix, as everyone I have spoken to who has one has had no issues.

got any drop in kits? that come with canister/sending unit complete, as in take out old unit and stick in new unit and thats it?

I dont get on here much. I still sell pumps here and there locally but for the most part I think the last one I shipped was like 6 months ago.

As for 04+ I still really think adding a return line and doing a FPR is the best option for them =p. Get a line from 97-03 from the junkyard for like 20 bucks + the fuel rail for maybe another 20.

Yes, in Japan until April 2016.

I can still supply HFP or Walbro pumps if interested. I recently engaged back with the vendors I would purchase from and set up a few accounts because I sell some parts to the local car scene.

Being in Japan, I also have access to tons of interesting parts and vehicles. I've been shipping back Silvias and Skylines if anyone is interested.
