ok so ever since i got my car int he spring time my gas gauge has never went to full even when i fill it up.
It goes about 3 notches below FULL. That is as high as it gets. I put a brand new fuel sending unit and pump in it and tht did nothing. anyone know what i could do? :(

so what do i do? try gettin a guage from a junkyard? and when i had the sender out i tryed movin the float up and down and when i did that the guage went all the way to full but why wont it do it in the tank?

Are you sure the tank is actually full?

Are you sure the fuel pump is installed correctly? If it wasn't in the right position that could happen. (too high)

the sender is sealed all the way down but when i fill up from EMPTY i still only get about 10 gallons in and it wont go any more. i tohught u said its a 17 gallon tank

so basically just work witht he sending unit? or what should i do in this situation :p haha bcuz it also whines really loud once it warms up it seems like

Double check the arm on the sending unit. It could have gotten bent and is partially getting stuck somewhere on the bucket.

Don't really know what it's worth. I dunno how about $10 plus shipping? Just let me know. I'll go down to the garage and make sure I have it.
