• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Mother ****er broke another one of my games. I'm calling them tuesday and just gonna ***** for hours. I'm making their lives hell

glad i made the right choice. too bad the PS3 is designed to play by yourself and has literally no multiplayer games that i want to buy.

my boys 360 got red ring of death twice
i like ps3 altho dont have all that many games rockband is fun when your smashed i will have to admit

3 years xbox 360 pro hdmi.. i have the cooling fans installed in the rear.. No problems ever, and its used 5-6 hours a day

The RROD comes because it overheats, the clamps holding down the two heatsinks are junk. When things get hot, they move, these clamps are supposed to secure it and they don't do a good job. The fix is to get some screws and washers to secure it to the board and get rid of the clamps, also use some better thermal paste.

Had my Xbox360 since it came out, Didn't red ring until this year because I kept it in a closet.. never any problems besides that.

Xbox360 > PS3 Anyday of the week.

I went thru 2 Crapbox's with the RROD. and MS told me on the phone it was my fault the machine overheated and broke get this..... for using 3rd party controllers....lol
after cussing them out. they fixed it and it went straight to Gamestop to get traded in.

Terrible Idea, don't do the stupid screw trick. It's a temporary fix, I know this because I mod xbox's (the legit way not so you can't go on live) and fixing RROD is easy as pie, take apart your box heat gun the paste and clean it all off (careful what you use) get some real thermal paste and apply gently.

PS. Having any game you want anytime is amazing, and so is having them before they come out :th_mischievious:

yeah i just learned some inside information from a friend who is a Rocksteady UK programmer.... :)

I just get quite a few games before they come out, but as soon as it goes in your box you can't connect to xbox live until it's released or you could get into a lot of trouble lol

yeah ive been tossing around the idea of modding the xbox for ages, i just have an extended warranty that i dont wanna pooch.. infact im thinking of forcing a RROD somehow so i can get it replaced now that they stoped making the Pro model i will get an upgrade to Elite
