• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Free HPT credits

The new MPVI2 still uses wires, I believe they still require you to be wired when flashing calibrations.

Also the wireless is slower to responds because it's wireless and it may not allow for the same amount of channels to be logged.

I'm using 4.0 and haven't had a problem with how little I use it. The people with the most problems are the people using them on the newest of vehicles with brand new support added to them.

The reason for the new equipment is because the old interface was 10+ years old and many of the parts are no longer made. So the new unit is smaller and covers more future vehicles, it's price point is also only $299 plus the cost of credits for the standard version, so price tag is cheaper to those that do not need the 8 credits from the old version and have 6 unused credits.

Against my better judgement I bought some bitcoin and purchased the file.

Good news is that it works like wanted said it did, but I almost thought I got ripped off when the buy more credits screen popped up. But when I hit cancel, it flashed fine without needing credits. Saving just saves without asking about credits.

In hindsight it probably wasn’t the smartest thing to trust but whatever it works lol.

Since two people have said it works I’m going to allow his thread but if I hear about someone getting scammed this gets closed immediately.

Could easily make that money back with this.

Plus. If you ever sell your hot you can sell it with those 30 credits still available for the next person

I needed this 10 years ago. Hpt will probably come out with a fix for it though.

For future versions, probably, but if you don't upgrade there's not really anything they can do to fix that. I mean people still use Windows XP apparently... :LOOOL:

i read there that you cant transfer it to other pc's, so id rather have a new laptop. the one i got is old and slow. its time for a upgrade regardless. this just pushes the time frame up.

So. I bought it. Can confirm it works as stated. Doesn’t use credits. Doesn’t register the vin with your hotbox either. Biggest issue was the license warning I got when writing. I was concerned but when I hit cancel it brought up the next write screen and wrote just fine. Also allows editing and saving files without credits. Should pay for itself rather quickly for anyone who tunes.

I read something briefly, as I'm not considering it. Does it appear that it'll only work on the current version of the software and possibly have trouble down the road?

You know, I’m not sure. It’s a file that contains the vcm editor and scanner that are already cracked. So idk how updates will effect it. I’m not sure if I’ll update anyway lol

updates add vehicles etc. I get what you are saying though. Heck just one of the vehicles being unlocked is worth the cost.

I've been considering getting hp tuners, since I'd like to tune other vehicles as well, but the credits get expensive so fast.

Do you have to be online to install/use the cracked version? I'd be a little worried about vcm suddenly realizing it's cracked and stop working or worse disable your tuner somehow.

To download it you need to be online. But to use it you don't need internet access. And as far as updates. You download the newest version from hpt and it replaces the old one

I needed this 10 years ago. Hpt will probably come out with a fix for it though.

They cant fix something that is already hacked. They may change stuff so the newer versions are harder to hack but you'll still be able to tune thousands of cars with the old hack.
