• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Afternoon all! After purchasing my 2004 GTP Comp G a month ago it's been Too Fun! Good mileage and stealthy performance too? I haven't itched this much to do some wrenching since selling my '71 440 Roadrunner to pay for our first child in '81.
Thanks to Mystic for his list of "to do's", some of the normal maint stuff I had already started before finding this forum.
After surfing for a month desiding what I could afford as early mods I've got some concerns about some of the vendors many of these threads talk about. The BBB has really slayed ZZ Performance (F), W-Body store (F) and they say 3800Perf is out of business. This stuff is pretty much contrary to what I've been reading.
I look forward to much give and take on this forum. It's been too long since I last floored the gas and had a car startle me like this!

Welcome:D Congradulations on the CompG, it's a sweetheart.

Thanks to Mystic for his list of "to do's",
Whoa there, that was bluegtp91's masterpiece. I just point people to it because it's one of the best I've seen (and I've seen a few).

As far as vendor issues, the main one I've used is ZZP because they're close to me here in MI so shipping is timely. We've had our disagreements but they've always settled to my satisfaction. A lot of it depends on specific product and circumstances. My wife has sold on e-Bay for a few years ($20k + /year) and online sales can be challenging when it comes to expectations. I try to give the benefit of the doubt becasue I've seen it from both ways.

Thanks guys, appologies to bluegtp91, it really is a comprehensive list.
This whole internet shopping experience is a little new and doubly frustrating because of a lack of local talent and agencies like BBB muddying the waters.
The how to stuff content of this site is easing my concerns. This'll be fun!
