• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Finally got my SVT's on!

I know I need lower, but here they are. I think they look good. Car is a bit dirty, and my exhaust needs adjusted.

Yup, I agree with the guy that said black housings/corners.

Tinted tails/black roof rails...slammed to the ground...just sayin

black housing heads and tinted tails are definitely next on the agenda. as you can see my headlights are garbage.

Tire size is 245/45/17. I would have done a 245/50 except I was matching the front 2 which came with the wheels. Front are bridgestone potenzas. rears are firestone firehawk gt's. Before winter I will be buying 2 more firehawks.

Slammed would look SO good, and I would love to. but with my gravel road and illinois winters it worries me a bit.

I need to get all the damage fixed first tho. New rear bumper cover+paint is a must. Also SD air dam to cover up where i hit a raccoon and the dent in the right quarter panel there. Oh aaaand the door ding on the left side which just got added a few days ago :/

dont worry about getting through the snow or around bumpy roads when lowered. my roads are just as bad up here in milwaukee and i rode my car pretty low for it's entire life.

hmm ill definitely consider it then. It may be a little while before i go lower just because i have probably about $2500 worth of dents, dings and scratches to fix. hopefully sooner than later tho. I was hoping to find a silver gt bumper to replace mine, but i kinda doubt it since mine is a different color silver than most gt's. ive heard lowering is really hard on struts and what not? is that just an old wives tale or will i actually be replacing them every 50k?

Oh and side note. As you can see my front lip at stock height is already picking up plenty of chips from all the gravel around here. I dont want to have to repaint that every year. but i suppose a professional paint job might hold up better.

Thanks! im really happy with them so far. i should probably take a couple more pics cuz idk if im crazy but it almost seems like it has settled on to them a bit and looks like its riding a little lower.
