F body brake upgrade question

Well I'm in the middle of doing an f body brake upgrade and I'm not sure where these brackets go,
any info!?

Those hold the brake pads on the bracket.

Mine didnt have those, I had clips but on the caliper itself maybe since they where 98+ setup from a TA

Well I've got the brakes on and everything and bled them correctly like 5 times, but after building up pressure, the car looses brake pressure any ideas?

are the caliper on the right way? bleeders pointing up?

Yeah they are on the right way, I'm thinking I still have air in the system, either that or the proportioning valve.

Take a pic of the installed calipers. You bleed the rear pass, rear drivers, front pass, then front drivers side?

yeah i bled them in that order, ive actually put a lot of fluid through the system

and ill get a pic up later on in the day im at work right now

did you let the master cylinder go dry while bleeding the brakes? if it got real low you may have sicked air into the lines by the abs pump. look for a bleeder on the abs or off the master, some have it some dont, depends on the year of the car.

yeah i let the master cylinder run dry...
i was looking for a bleeder but couldnt see one yesterday
would a 2001 car have that bleeder?

i know the 97 and 98 had it, the newer ones dont seem to have it.

you can have some one pump the brakes, then they hold them, just like bleeding the caliper, then crack the line bolt loose off the master, if its got air, this will bleed it out, wrap a rag around the line, as it will fly out fast if you crack it to much.

looks good, did you get the pedal back yet?

if your running stock wheels, be careful putting the wheels back on, thats how them chips you have on the caliper happen, you got like a 1/2 inch of space now.

I have pressure when the car is off, but when it's running the brakes have to be pushed in to floor before they engage properly, (i haven't bled the abs/BMC yet no one to help) if I pump them while the car is running they start to build pressure but them they loose it.

and I Know!! There is like zero clearance lol
