Ok so today my car started having on off problems with turning off a couple secounds after starting, turn the key on and absolutely no power, radio turned off and reset itself while i was driving ( all radio presets reset when i turned on the key the first time but i put all them back and then later in the night it turned off when i was driving and reset ) and after there is no power when you turn the key i can turn it off and back on then it would start, light are flickering when I'm driving... i checked power cables everything is tight battery in it right now has plenty of power and even put a new one in just to check it was not the battery... and like i said it is on and off it did it through out the day but sometimes there were no problems at all... i am lost i have no idea what is causing this any info would help....
 


Best guess is something with the positive battery cable. Maybe the ground cable. Sounds like your car is "loseing" connection to the battery while u r driving.

I agree with "Iceman6669". It sounds like a lost connection issue. Is there any visible corrosion at the connection (cables or terminals)?

It's possible that your alternator is going bad but most times that will turn the battery light on on the dash. You could get it checked out at autozone or advance for free.
 
When my car is started if I open the doors or open the trunk the interior light flick off then on again as well as the radio. It will also do the same thing if the low fuel readout comes on the message center. What could it be?????
