It has a 1966 289 mustang engine and trans, i got it from my dads friend he said if i can get it home i can have it cause it was just taking up room at his house so i brought it home in august and got it running and driving. It hasent ran in years and im soon to be getting tags so i can drive it around. Let me know what yous think and give me some suggestions!

yea thats what i wanted to do with it before i brought it home but its in pretty good shape besides the front fenders and not to rusted, so im not sure if i wanna rat rod it or not and it runs great. so i might do a light restoration on it and make it a cruiser for a while something just to ride around in but i might lower it.

yea alot of these trucks are hard to find original in good shape cause they were used as work trucks alot. well down around you im sure theres alot of old stuff cause its drier down south up here in the NE things rust out easy. it doesnt have alot of original parts thats why im still not sure which way i wanna go with it

Throw a new wiring harness in it so it doesn't give you a headache down the road. Then lower it significantly and flat black it and pull the running lights off the top and relocate the turns to behind the grill. That would look tits.

Look great, definitely a nice project. My dad is working on a 46 Ford "Ruby". This spring hes putting on new side steps and redoing the flat bed and tails. Need to get new pictures, only have the ones from when he first picked her up. She runs and drives decently, needs some work tho, 302, 4-spd auto, ford 9" rear end.

Do not bastardize that truck. If you do I will hunt you down and bad things will ensue. Seriously.

Oh yeah, BTW, you are a lucky SOB.

My favorite vehicle of all time is a 1956 F100. These are real cool too.
