ECU chip in airbox?

I am trying to install an open cone air filter in my 1998 grand prix gtp, but when i opened up the airbox there was the ecu chip inside of it and I am confused on what to do with it. I meant to upload pictures, but something is wrong with my computer and haven't figured it out yet. Any help is appreciated.

Just pull the pcm out and leave it lay there

doesn't water get into it or anything? how do I make sure it won't fall from the engine bay?

zip tie it down. the pcm is waterproof the two plugs on the back have gaskets on them

Zip ties are going to be your best friend when owning a Grand Prix.

Oh.... and Duct tape.

or you can get a pcm tray. its like 50$ or so... good for peace of mind
