E cig, cause cigarettes are for losers

What a crazy week...

1. An Awesome shop Hired me. Part time and vape gear is sold to me at shop cost, that's a win√

2. Sold my Zombie Edition Provari on ebay for a profit, that's a win√

3. My wife got into rebuilding and dripping, she is a cloud chaser now, that's a win√

4. Sold my Chi You clone mech on eBay for a profit, that's a win√

5. Took said profits and bought a legit Copper Vanilla mech mod, WIN√√√

Goldie is due to break something soon after all this winning, that's a fact, GTP problems√

My Copper Vanilla Mod topped with a somewhat rare IGO M

congrats on the job and your week of successful wins

so i picked up this stuff today..(used, $100 for all)

the one is a mini pro-tank which is the throw away kind (the atomizer), which i understand.

the other is a chi you mojo mod with a igo-w atomizer and drip tip, which is the one i'm going to have to play around with in order to get how it works..(three 18650 batteries for the rebuildable one, too).

so i need to rebuild the igo-w before i can use it. the mini pro-tank stuff i can clean and use as-is, no biggie.

where should i start looking as far as rebuilding the atomizer on the rebuildable unit? basically, which wick and wire should i be getting in order to get it going again? and what resistance should i be looking for on the coils? i'm not trying to make this complicated, but i'm not an idiot so i can handle doing any of the building necessary.

hey bio. this is what i currently have set up on my igo-w.
i used Kanthol 28awg wire and organic cotton i got from walgreens.
i wanna say a 5/64ths drill bit.
you'll also need a dental pick, mini butane torch (cheap as dirt at lowes) some needle nose pliers. and a small screw driver.
making the coils will take a ton of practice. They get easier as you go. you can also rebuile the Protank 2 coils as well BTW they are good for practicing with.

On the drill bit i did 10 wraps with the 28awg wire and made 4 coils using that.
total build came out to .36ohms.
i used a single piece of cotton through all 4 coils. and am using that set up on the hammer mod with an 18650 battery.

back to using your hammer? I can't get enough of mine! Got me a Kraken and wound a .8 ohm SS wick setup and its a vaping Beast.

well the hammer is actually growing on me. the one i have is a clone and i just ordered the magnet upgrade for the button. that's the only piece about the hammer that is sh*t. well that and the terrible connection between battery and the dripper. but there is no fix for that connection so I'm working on making my own fix for that.

10min is to long. I bought my 30g kenthol off ebay, 500 ft for little $19.** shipped. Kanthal A-1 is what you want.
I use regular cotton balls, or you can use cotton q tips , or silica, or german silica, or cotton yarn, yes yarn.

you green thing looks like anything 1.5ohm/1.7ohm+

your mod, well

read up so you dont loose a finger or two!

and YAY for jumping on the wagon wo ho!

i have no idea what i'm doing still, so...yeah. i just figured out how to take them apart and put them back together.

beyond that, like the actual ohm readings on the coils, the wicking material, and what not...i'll have to look into it a bunch more before i figure out why it all makes sense in this case. it isn't exactly intuitive, even coming from an electrical engineer, heh.

i've got two MNKE IMR-18650 (1500mAh, 20A) and one sony US18650VTC4 (2100mAh, 30A).

nice?

The batteries you have are great for subohming, especially the 30A Sony VTC4, I fired a .1Ω on mine last night, super hot vape, did it for fun. My go to build is a .4Ω set up.

Best place to get knowledge for using drippers- http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/

This is my go to build/ daily driver. 26g, 6 wraps, 5/64 drill bit, .4Ω, cotton wick. Ekowool and silca mute the flavor to much IMO.

so I'm currently running a .5ohm build on my igo-w that i did yesterday. by far my favorite build so far. I used .5mmx.1mm kanthol ribbon wire. did 3 wraps on a 5/64ths drill bit. when you fire it it turns instantly red. once i got it wicked and juiced up puts out so much more vapor than almost anything I've done yet. amazing stuff. again I'll put pics once we get a port call again and i have wifi.

on a side note we did a nano micro coil on the trident RDA yesterday and holy ****. I can't remember how many wraps we did but we wrapped it on 28awg wire, so just imagin how tiny the coils are. there's at least 15 wraps but again i can't remember. once your taking a hit off hit you can only hold it a second or two cause of how hot it gets so quickly. but that one or two second hit puts out more vape than a normal build for a full inhale. it's insane.

debating just taking it to the shop and having them rebuild it and being done with it. i'm not sure i care enough.

i don't carry it around with me and i am basically limiting myself to doing it at home on my off time. it's not really a hobby thing i want to delve into, but it'd be entertaining (because i like the action of smoking) do to while i'm just sitting around the house. similar to smoking a hookah, of sorts.

it's not really a hobby thing i want to delve into,

ahuh SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUREEE.

what you trying to rebuild the igo? its a double coil? I would just get some wire and a paper clip make a 12 wrap coil x2 insert cotton wicks and vape away.

wick if your using cotton just takes a few feel tries. Take some cotton slightly roll but keep it loose but twist the end so it goes through the coil. If it becomes "harder" to pull through the coil its to much cotton. If it goes into the coil like a toothpick down a hallway to little cotton. I find a "I feel it in the coil" but can still be pulled out without the coil moving is just right. Then I snip off the rightly rolled end that went through the coil first, prime with juice, fill the well and walla

alright, maybe i'll stop out at the shop and buy some wire. i don't feel like buying a 100ft roll just because it's cheap.

or...someone shove some in an envelope and send me some. 28ga is what i'd probably use...
