has anyone put any of those new dynomax vt mufflers tht are drone free how do they sound

Since no one answered.

I have heard Dynomax Super Turbo's in person and they are super quiet...which is what you really want because the 3800's don't have a very nice exhaust note.

I saw that one but I don't think so because those Camaro V6s actually don't sound that bad stock. They almost have a different note not like our cars.

Both of those sounded pretty damn good. That 3400 without rasp sounded great. I wonder if they both kept their resonators.

Tell me how a smaller displacement DOHC V6 is going to sound like a larger displacement pushrod 90* V6?

They sound nothing alike.

In fact the 3100/3400's sound way better than the 3800's because of the 60* angle...**** the 90's...man.

Then why do FBody 3800's sound worlds better?

It's the way the exhaust is setup more than anything.

Dave's 3800 Cutlass sounded amazing with Catless LT's and a custom exhaust.

The firing order does this.

Why else would a 60* in the same situation sound worlds better?

Now longitudinal, I'm not going to argue, it can be done.

But it is still more difficult than a 60*.

Go listen to some Grand Am's/Grand Prix's with 3100/3400's with exhaust work...same style exhaust setup...same crappy crossover design.
