What's your opinion on these parts. I've had good luck with these and usually if it's a mechanical part this is what I buy.

ive got duralast tie rod ends, for the last 2 years, front end has been good and bad due to changing parts here and there, and they are still tight.

have a d/l w/p too its over a year old, no problems.

and a d/l trans filter, i guess its working as well.

their brake aint the bad if your not beating the tar out of them. aka drive like a human.

I have luck with dura-last parts, especially since they are lifetime and not 1 swap, lifetime like some of advanced auto parts.

They have good batteries. Other than that I don't buy duralast stuff. Bought a duralast wheel bearing once. Went out in 5 months.

no..thats because autozone is a bunch of morons and don't care how much store stock they waste..

I..(at advance)..give people a three strike rule on some parts (starters,alternators)..but if you are trying to warranty your brake pads for the 2nd time in one year..**** you dumbass..you're not getting another set out of me unless you buy a caliper and hose.

so yeah, in conclusion, autozone is a failure of a company in my eyes

I don't go to AutoZone so I won't buy Duralast parts. AutoZone counter guys are morons, not to mention their "system" is so far out of date that you almost have to know DOS to know how to use it.

The AutoZone near me actually has people that at least sort of know what they're talking about. It's the guys at O'reillys that are complete morons.

Around here its about a horse a piece, went to O'riellys to get an alternator and the bolt hole in the alternator wasnt even tapped had to run back and get another one from a different store on the other side of town...
Went to Autozone to get a power steering pump the blonde behind the counter grabs the box and me being the dumb ass i am payed more attention to her than what she was selling me and ended up with a power steering pump to idk what..
Napa rapes you on the price for everything.

As far as the parts go, they all seem to last about the same.

Oh, don't buy champion alternators, starters, fenco power steering pumps, racks, calipers, prestone/ASC water pumps.

They might come ****ed up in the box.

Prebent bearings, for your installing pleasure.

Oh and quality first wiper motors.

Fenco and quality first like to rebuild bad castings, and sell them anyways.

Stripped threads? bah, rebuild it any sell it anyways.
