dumb question but?

so i just used the air compressor w/ the injectors back in there hole. That seemed to have worked!! Just pulled on the evap hose and broke the nipple off on the IM. Damn it!!!!

Hey in Dubob Richie video on how to change a LIM gasket does he use break fluid cleaner to wipe down where the gaskets go? I know he mentions something about starter cleaner. Is break fluid cleaner OK to use?
 
so I got new valve cover gasket and not to sure if I need them, I notice some oil on the front exhaust manifold. The thing is not am not to sure how old this oil is? I just got the car and could not drive it anymore due to the water pump failing. I just want to make sure I am not wasting my money replacing gaskets that are fine. Here is a picture of one the gaskets. Also when replacing the coolant elbows I only got 3 washers with the new tensioner, how many are suppose to come with it?

sounds good to me, its pretty funny. I took my in car in to get a diag and they said it was the tensionor. The car was making a whining noise from the engine bay, it turns out it was the water pump. It started spewing water everywhere. Not good. So I just replaced the water pump and put a new tesnisonor on there too. Next is to finish up the LIM and Valve cover gasket. I need to replace the vacuum lines I broke. So does anyone know why Duralast gives you 3 O-rings in the w/ the new tensionor? I watch a video from A1 on you tube and did not notice him say anything about those O-rings

Great Thread....I am in the middle of doing my LIM gasket change myself. I also broke that multi-hose fitting on top of the SC. It was too brittle to even twist the hoses before trying to remove. Any idea what that multi-hose fitting is called? I will post up a pic in a few minutes.
