This isn't my story, it's from one of my LS1 Forums, but I felt you guys needed to get really pissed off on a Sunday morning :lol:

So my dad just got done building a '69 ss camaro from the ground up. Every nut and bolt was brand new. ZZ 572 crate motor, brand new 5-speed tranny, 12-bolt, the works...

So he's finally done with this damn car. Looks amazing, turns heads like no other. What does this mean? I can finally buy his '72 Z-28 off of him, which i have been waiting for, for 8 years...

He picks me up in the '69 since i never rode in it before. We had done the title work for the '72 earlier that day. He go to his house, i get the keys to the '72. We decide to go get some dinner at Wendy's and then go on a cruise. So we drive 8 miles, 8 miles. He is following me, i stop to make a left hand turn into the Wendy's parking lot, he pulls up behind me. Just as i am admiring his car, some stupid ***** plows into the back of him going 60 mph in a PT cruiser. His car spins and nails mine. Needless to say i almost shot her and here is the damage. My dads car only had 300 miles on it, he didn't even get the break in period done on the motor yet... I drove my car 8 ****ing miles before this ***** did this...

Guess what the **** she was doing...Texting on her ****ing phone.

oh my god dude. talk about a horror story.. im gunna start screaming out the window at people that are texting. all i can say is that i'm sorry man.
 
wow, i would probably murder her family. That's ****ed up, that poor 69 :th_frowning:.
 
I would obviously go after her for all she is worth, and then I would even go as far as going after the cell company she was using while texting. I have seen several cases where people involved in accidents like your father's try to sue to the cellular company. I dont know what the outcome was from it, but it certainly cant hurt.

I am just glad most your dad is OK!
 
Wow. That's terrible.
I think what pissed me off most was that she was driving a pt cruiser.
I get very angry when I see those cars on the road, I hate them with a passion. Especially "modded" ones.
 


OMG...:th_angry-cussing::th_sign-banher:from driving ever again! I think thats what happened in my dads wreck a couple of years ago, some lady was on phone or texting and while my dad was stopped in his little S-10 she plowed him with her suburban into another large SUV and smashed the truck inbetween the two, he had to have a steel disk put in his neck and have surgery on his shoulder. PPl should go to jail for causing wrecks while texting. its just dangerous.

If it was a guy I would of got out of the car and beat the **** out of him. It would be worth the little bit of jail time.
 
how is the insurance company going to cover the time spent restoring the camaro? they can't, such a loss

Guy or girl!!! I know im a chic and all but iv always heard "I wont hit a girl but I slap a b**ch!" In that case I would kill her!
 


I cant honestly say what id do in that situation... A few years ago a guy rearended my pos neon wasnt hard cracked the bumper He was on a cell phone and my son was in the car
I got out a little pissed and said he better have insurance he basically told me to **** off and went to back up
I flipped out drug him through his window and had him on the ground as a cop pulled up

I dont think I would get much Merci for beating the **** out of a girl. I would spend too much time in jail and not be able to fix the car.
