i need to install all new struts and springs. so i am wondering which is better the drop in set on zzperformace or to buy individual parts? thanks for the help guys

Easiest by far is the complete strut assembly. You only need basic tools. Changing the strut springs without proper tools and knowledge can be VERY dangerous!

This^^^. Unless you have the proper tools and space, the "Quick Strut" option is much easier and safer.

Probably less foul language too.

I just did my wife's 2000 and used Monroe drop-ins!! Got them on-line for $128 and only took about 1-1/2 hr per side!! Huge difference in ride and handling!!! Note: a 15mm ratchet wrench works great for the three top bolts!!!

1 1/2 hours per side? Jeez i can do 2 in that time with swapping springs and have time to spare

I am an "old" man and was quite pleased at how long it took!!! That included unpackaging , laying out tools , removeal, replacement, putting all tools away, and "test" drive ....3 hrs.....very happy!!!!
