Driver's side outside door handle broke

Drivers door will open from inside but handle does not work on outside.

How much does the part cost, anyone know?

Take the door panel off on the inside and hook the rod back up, or if the handle is actually broke go to a junk yard.

i replaced my outside door handle. it was broken and i got the last one from my local junkyard. very common problem. then i just got done tightening it all up. if you handle isnt broken, youll notice that the rod that is connected to the handle is threaded at the end. take the rod off at the handle by removinfg the clip and then turn the nut and that should fix it. for the outside door handle you do not need to remove the interior door panel. just the pannel that is directly behind the outside door handle.

is there a way to open the door when both handles are broke of

My handle just broke off on the outside. I'm looking down into the door trying to figure out how to get it open. I cannot get into the passenger side as it is locked and I do not have a door key or keyless entry.

Any advice on how to get in, without a brick, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

See if you can get a cop or locksmith to get it open with a slim jim

On my 2000 gtp it seems like my drivers door handle is loose and could possibly break. Does this require taking the door panel off or no?
