Draglites and QTP

So here is my new setup, I think it looks sick too. Im so happy with the way it fits. Here is the setup. 15x8 w- 5.5BS draglites with Hoosier QTP's 26x11.5x15, 11.5 section width that is. I also have 12" brakes on the front, so I had to use a 1" hub adapter for them to clear. I could have used less say 3/4 but whats another 1/4 inch. They do stick out about 1" from the fender, (tread). I can turn pretty far before any rubbing too. This is going to save me so much weight and improve my ET dramaticly. The package weighed in at 28lbs each and my current rims/tire weigh 54lb, each.... Let me know what you think.. I like it!

new trans in your future. slicks are a bad idea for a car you want to run for a while. they'll hook though, no doubt about that.

I'd s**t my pants in person if i saw that pull up to me at the lights, that looks really scary...

Trans is pretty new and had some good parts installed when done too. also have a external cooler and use DEX-VI So Im not too worried about it, Im know these trannys dont last, but I do take care of my stuff. I dont street race from a dead stop usually and I dont beat on it much either and only race at the track 3-4 time a season so. Thanks for the feedback. I dont know whats worse, hard accelerations with these heavy ass 19's or hook and go with lightweight slicks.

Very basic mods. Catback headers tune cai 180stat ported tb. Tires were free and had 20 passes rims were 100 for thepair and I had the lugs from my 10sec T-type. So it was cheaper this way for sure.
