Does the Stock deck have RCA outputs

No reason taking the deck out to install the amp if it does not have it

I have never seen a stock deck with outputs, it's more cost for the manufacturer to add something they don't want you to do anyway. Get a good line out converter and you'll be fine

Yea that is what I figured but thought I would ask I went and bought a Amp kit today and I am going to start the install tommorow is it easy to get the Dash apart to get to the Deck

Its fairly easy, I posted up somewhere on here the tech sheets showing how to take apart everything. I will see if I can find that for you.

I need to know if someone could help me how to hook up the line converter to the back of the stock deck.
Also I was reding on the Contols for the steering wheel I am going to order one of those too

If you are clever, you might be able to tap off the audio signals between the pre-amplifier and main amplifier on the radio's circuit... Find the main amplifier in the radio, probably the device with the biggest heatsink. Get the numbers off it and look up the datasheets on the internet. You might be able to easily work from there.

There should be at least 2, sometimes 4 speaker leads coming off the LOC, hook these up to the rear speaker wires or front but rear is easier. Then there should be an accessory wire coming off the LOC hook this up to an accessory wire in the car. Then there should be a ground wire coming off The LOC hook this up to ground.

Depending on which LOC you get, you sometimes get a remote turn on lead output of it so that is one less thing you have to worry about.

I get ths part but what I am looking for is the Pin out of the Trunk Amplifier input from the Deck

I am talking abot the stock amp that is mounted in the trunk I was planning on taking the input leads to the amp out and branching off to the LOC. I think that would be the best way right?

The Problem is I do not know what input wires to come off of to get the correct connection. I am going to get a head unit in a few months and then I will be running of of that but for now I wanted to connect my box.

I dont remember which ones I tapped into on my head unit (stock Bose), I know it was the rear speakers, and I tapped in the line out convertor at the head unit so that if I ever did replace the head unit, my RCA cables were already ran to the front of the car. Mine has been working for over 5 years with no problems. I will be taking out the head unit next week to replace the display bulb, so I can tell you what color wires and where its connected then if need be. Mine is also an 01 GTP so there should be no difference.
