i have a 97 grandprix gt with the 3.8 v6 and its throwing the 102 low curcit mass airflow sensor code being thrown. ive changed the MAF once already and its brand new. just changed the idle air control valve and ive changed the tps after consecutive failure.. does anyone have and idea why the low curcit code for the MAF is still being thrown? anything will help thanks! Tim

how is the wiring connecting to the MAF sensor? Is it cracked or seperated anyhwere.........shorting or open circuit?

i didnt see any cracks or anything at all  and i didnt see a fuse labled for it but i check most every one of them and i didnt see any that were blown

Take your sensor out, and take off the intake pipe, get some throttle body cleaner(Intake Medic by Gunk works) and clean out your Throttle body. Failing that, check to see if the sensor that's on the intake pipe is actually properly connected. Also, check for any vacuum leaks, these leaks could be at the intake manifold, throttle body or EGR Valve flanges. And, even for a laugh, check your PCV Valve.

I think we can say it must have been under drivers ....wait.. you don't have fuses under the drivers dash etiher...

Odd.

that sucks you replaced all those parts. FLOW CHART FLOW CHART FLOW CHART. check fuses first.....My teachers would get sooooo pissed about that.

u got jacked homie.. i had a serious vac leak causing all teh probs u stated.. dude prob just fixed a vac leak and robbed u for what he could.
