Does 5x114.3 still work ok w/ hubrings

Im looking at buying this set of wheels

18x8.5
+35
5x114.3
Hub Bore: 73.1

So id need hub centric rings, my concern is that im running these wheels which really arent the right size and maybe they would vibrate.

Here are the wheels, they are $428

Alot of people do it and have no problems. A few people have had problems. A local tire shop sat me down and talked me out of doing it. lol.

wtf?

Just get some wheels.

IF they actually vibrate get some rings.

That'll take care of that.

you'll find there is NOTHING out there in 5x115 compared to 5x114.3

the bore is a bit too big (ours is 70.3mm), i would get the correct hubring.

that exactly what some if not all aftermarket rims come with.

They will be fine man. Throw them on, if you get vibrations. Put some hub rings on. The proper thing to do is use hub rings, but you can run without them.

Using the wrong size wheels works fine with little problems... They fit on your car and seem to work, but they wear on your hub assembly and you'll need to replace them sooner than you want. I used the 114.3 x 5 on my car for over a year before I started having extreme uneven tire wear and a car that was no longer able to be aligned. Look at the bright side the hub assembly is 1/3 of what it used to cost when I needed to replace mine....

I have had my wheels with this bolt pattern for years now and never had any issues. Others will say that you will have problems with lugs breaking but there are many who use this bolt pattern with no issues. I am one of them.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhh,, here we go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do want to know how long i've been running 5x114.3 wheels on my GTP?

10 years now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have replaced the wheels bearings ONCE, but dont many that last 80K+

Some people never have problems.... I did, there's a chance mine might of gone bad just because, but my car was around 30k miles at the time. I guess the brightest side about 114.3 is the 1000s of extra choices to choose from
