I'm not fooling myself I have owned several stock and modded l67's and no matter what I do to this car I can't get the tourqey (is that a word?) Feel that I want. Everything I have done thus far has just gained more and more farther and farther up top. It's a gain regardless and it's still fun just not where I want it.why you getting butt hurt? Thanks bud, I had this opportunity when my lifters failed I bought a 99 gtp I planned on swapping the motors but replaced the lifters instead. I'll keep messing with it until I can justify spending the money for boost.I have a 99 GT. had the orig engine not spun a bearing I would still be running the N/A and loving it. I paid $1100 for a 1 owner, gorgeous inside and out car 4 years ago. once it shot the bearing I found a 100k S/C engine for $300. so like you rlugo87, run that thing and enjoy, like I said I still would be.
I guess I'm biased to s/c since it's what I'm used to. I owned one turbo car (Audi a6 2.7 twin turbo) and I was never happy with that car, for God's sake I traded it for a malibu!with turbo you dont give a **** about torque at low rpm, once it starts spooling your a rocket. Your na has more torque pre turbo than my low comp block off blower less engine
