alright I am at a complete loss about my hid's on my 04 gt2. the previous owner had them installed so im not 100% sure on the details. I know that they are 55w. but this is the thing. my right and left sides are different colors. my driver side hid looks to be about a 4300 while my passenger side looks to be about a 5 maybe a 6. and then with my fogs my driver side is either 5 or 6 while my passenger is 4300. Me being the perfectionist that i am this drives me CRAZY. you can tell it looks different and it looks flat out stupid having two different color headlights. How the heck did this happen? is it some how the bulbs got messed up or what... please helpimage.jpg. Sorry about the messed up picture but you can obviously tell the difference.
 


Start by swapping the bulbs, if the color stays its the ballast and if it moves its the bulbs.
Sounds like you might have to invest a few dollars.
 
I had a xentec ballast hooked up n it was more blue than my other regular ballast. (Other regular ballast blew) and they both had the same bulbs and it did this. The xentec was more blue that my originals..make sure you have the same brand of ballasts..if you do then its prob the bulb.
 
Lot of different variables, seeing how you didn't buy/install them.
It might be a good time to freshen up the rig with a new HID kit and keep the old for spares.
There is a few good options out there for under $75.00 to your door. VVME or DDM seem to be the most popular choices.
My 55 watt 6k kit from DDM was around 50 shipped. It did take like 3 1/2 weeks to get them(they ship from China) but some people have gotten them sooner. I'm not sure about VVME price or shipping.
 


Hmm alright I will check out my ballast first... If I just get bulbs what size would I need to get for my fogs and my lows
 
And that probably won't be a bad idea to set something up myself so I know what the f I'm doing and what went into it.
 
another thing... since i have two of each color just on oppiste sides and on different lights could i just flip one side of the lights around? like switch the fog with the low bulbs? ive tried this before but when i tried the plastic pieces holding the bulb to the housing would grab becuase they were different sizes. i can live with 4300 fogs and 6 lows i just dont know how
