DIC displaying blinking 0

HELP!

My Driver Information Center(DIC) (for search purpose) is showing blinking zero on all modes.
It's 98 gt and didn't come with digital DIC. I'm pretty sure tan wire to DLC-9 is intact and so is dark green to the back of speedometer(K). Other features(not so many left, but still) like door ajar indicators work.

All fuses are checked and a handheld scanner did power on upon connecting to ODBII port.

What to check next? help!

Yes I know, it does have the text in front, but there's no bulb connected to it, as well as the ebay seller stated it as 1999.

I'd guess something logical as well. but where do I start?
It seems like there's a remote started installed by previous owner, though I don't have the remote for it. Factory alarm seems to be somehow disabled, and there's a wire going across the engine with a sticker saying it's got a remote start.
How to test if I'm getting correct signal? I've done trying swapping with another GP but I don't have any in my area;

ill trade you DIC's..i have a digital one from a 98 that blinks 0 on my 99 gp and u have a 99 DIC...worth a try....both of us would be happy if it worked out...also there is a junkyard here with one from a 98 gtp...which would also work for you...minus the TCS switch which would just be opposite

yea now that i think about it the 97's say "drivers information center" where the trac button is...i still think we should trade becasue the guy i got mine from says its from a 98 and yours is "from a 99" its worth the 5 bucks in shipping if it works...and both of ours would hopefully be working

Im not 100%, but I think that is for a 97 GT. The GTP's from what Ive seen have the words "Driver Information Center" in place of the TRAC button, also the tire pressure indicator leads me to believe its still from a 97, and the DIC wording is for the GTP's only. You need to find a 98-02.
