I did the same thing to my 97. In the end it was cause f the port that threw the maf off. Grabbed a stock 99 Maf and tb and mad table for the pcm and power was back.
 
All I know is I just need some help here and wanted to do it before I send my car to the body shop... Scott can you message me?

Just talked to the guy that said he was gonna port it. I guess he didnt. So thats a check off

@iceman. So if I have a 3.0 pulley with supporting mods and no tune it should run perfectly fine with no tune?
