Just changed my oil....1729 miles over due....never seen it this black. So just picked up the stuff to change it one more time right before o deploy. Also got some picks...cause I soldered in the ls2. TB wiring pigtail so I can use ls4 or ls2 :D

Ugh....still covered in oil.....but I'm about to shower.


Anywho here's the ls2 TB wiring harness as I soldered it in.....and yes I left the ls4 one there as well....so I can switch between TBs hahaha

Funny story....so while my oil was draining out I got the bright idea to inspect everything....well while checking the leak I have on passenger side I stuck my head under the super hot running oil. Didn't feel good.

holy **** man lol glad you came out ok it couldve been worse, i caught some c16 race gas in the face one day. not cool at all

Yes **** sucks. Anyways my passenger CV half shaft seal is still leaking and seems to be getting worse now. Dunno why it keeps leaking.

And also my rack an pinion is leaking again. At least I squeezed a year out of it by putting stop leak fluid in...but o well

So started car up today....gotta do some investigating. For first 3-5 minutes of running had a nice rubbing noise that changed with engine rpm. I think one of my idlers is seizing up. Since I have next 2.5 days off I'll investigate it. Even with freezing cold weather and snow.

Also when slowly over a bump today and there's a nice squeak/creaking noise coming from front end...WTF. o well I'll figure it out in next couple days

It's a Pontiac, if something doesn't squeak, rattle, clunk, or bump, then somethings wrong haha.

No this creaking noise.....was far from normal and kinda embarrassed me. And the idler pulley....if that's what it was....is a problem lol
