Delilah....dyno rackar

Re: Her names Delilah......wobble wobble wobble

So another random thing while I'm thinking about it. Driving with all my interior gutted intensifies any noise at all...brakes, tires and all.

But after finally driving it for more than a minute or two like this I'm pretty sure my rear drivers side hub is bad. And my rear brakes still need replacing lol. Next paycheck that will be.
And also something I can hear now. If I move my steering wheel side to side...very little though, I can feel some play. So I'm going to check the rack even more thoroughly to see what I can find.

And my front passenger slider pin for the brake caliper needs some more lube...it creaks a little while letting off the brakes.

So fixing the sunroof helped me solve other things to

Re: Her names Delilah......wobble wobble wobble

Mine also has some play in it. It's been like that since 40k. I didn't really think it was a problem.

Let me know if you find anything.

I will. I'm hoping its a loose bolt or something. The rack doesn't leak anymore...used to but not anymore.

Re: Her names Delilah......wobble wobble wobble

Re: Her names Delilah......wobble wobble wobble

started getting the car back together this evening....made good progress.

So this would be my dremel....doing what it does best

And this would be the dremels dirty dirty work

also used the dremel to drill a small hole right below the cig ligter to run all my wiring through so it cant be seen anymore.
Theres my iPod Line in cord...a standard Aux in cord....and my phone charger

nifty little switch i installed to override my XM radio for Aux inputs use

Re: Her names Delilah......wobble wobble wobble

Had to do some more dremel weight mods to get the new tranny cooler in...dunno how big of a difference it'll make just yet.

Re: Her names Delilah......wobble wobble wobble

ps. k&n filter? really? 20 bucks? don't like NAPA Gold 5 dollar filters?

Re: Her names Delilah......wobble wobble wobble

What k&n filter for 20 bucks

Edit: wait the oil filter. I always get those. Wait till syn power is on sale and get their sale deal and they upgrade the filter to k&n for 4 bucks more. Grand total for oil change = 29 bucks

Re: Her names Delilah......wobble wobble wobble

So after my oil change yesterday ive come to the conclusion my car doesnt burn hardly any oil at all. I measured exactly 6 quart of oil in a pan the day before with water so I could measure it. Well the oil was barely below the full mark..and the oil catch can only had about an 1/8th of a cup in it.
