• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Danielle's 99 GT :)

It was the biggest pita to install. Only 2 holes lined up. So we used self tappers for 2 and drilled another 1. So its got 5 out of 6 required screws. I hope that's good enough.

Oh, and I did check for leakage. I'm about 97% sure its the oil pan. It was nasty around it already.
And my dad does have a torque bar, so we can do tranny service sometime soon.

Just get under there and try tightening up the oil pan bolts some are 10mm and some are 13mm. I tightened mine up quite a bit when i got the car and it doesn't use any oil now.

I will try that next time I have it up on ramps. When they change the oil they never say anything about it using any oil, just that the pan is damp. But obviously, its gotta come from somewhere.

Re: Danielle's 99 GT :) (spoiler installed!)

Okay, here are some more shots.
I was so mad at the stupid thing, I haven't given myself the chance to love it yet.
But the paint job turned out fabulous! So pretty and matches perfect!
Got the center top bolt in and realized none of the others matched worth a darn.
So my dad was helping me and he drilled one hole and we were able to get 2 self tappers in 2 of them.
The one hole left we can't drill because then we'd have a huge hole. So its held down on 5 out of 6 holes.
You can hear it hit the corner that its not tight against when it shuts.
I"m hoping that in the sun for a few days it will form more to the deck lid and maybe fit a little better.
I could have sworn it fit better when I test fitted it.

Anyways, on with the sexy pictures:

It's so weird looking out the rear view mirror and seeing a spoiler.
Now that the rear end is looking better, I need new tails and my exhaust tips installed and she'll be even prettier.

Very nice! My tail had the same fitment issue your describing, except mine was so bad it only had 4 bolts for its life lol...
