• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Danielle's 99 GT :)

Ok chica. Got home from work and lowes for more rubber seals and I took off my spoiler to snap some shots of the underside for ya. Now... I can post all of them, but I won't. I got into a mode after doing some waxing to try and keep the paint in the best shape it could be since its cracked all to hell and chipping in a couple places. So what I will do, is link my PhotoBucket folder with all the pics, you can rummage thru them and maybe they will be of some help. Even a couple of the nuts and 1 bolt that just came out, looks to just have a stud screwed in and a nut to hold it snug. Threaded into the spoiler, hopefully it helps.

Holy cow, look at the shine on that deck lid! You really used some elbow grease!
When I took mine off the 2nd time, it looked a lot better than the original go around but still needs cleaned/polished better (which I plan on doing before SLP install).
Hoping to get it as shiny as yours looks :)

Your washers look to have held up really well if those are the old ones.
Mine got all rotted and stretched out and nasty.
Maybe I'll go check out the competitor (Lowe's) and see if they have anything better...

Thank you :)

you own a porter cable, if you have the endurance to do it right, it will shine like you never thought. nice tips by the way.:th_winking:

Hey Danielle,

You ever get that spoiler painted? I have one on the way too. My GP is getting tinted tomorrow. And the paint job isnt too far off too. If you need someone to paint it I can do it. My dad is a paint/body man and we have a body shop beside the house. Cheaper than taking it to any big body shop. Hit me up with a pm and i can get you a price.

I can't wait to see them. We both have white racekars and Im curious to see how sick they'll look. May invest in the same tips...Every time I say tips I think of tits...Lovin' where my heads at.

...meaning it HASNT been dropped off yet... so were left waiting ANOTHER 2-3 weeks before its installed and you take pictures.

Why do you tease us so??? :th_shakinghead1:

Hey now. At least I got a quote and its happening now. Just waiting for the guy to let me know when to drop it off. I told him I wasn't in a hurry for it which saved some money...so I'm good with waiting.

And yes, I will continue to tease :)

I took advantage of the gorgeous weather and washed the car, scrubbed the wheels, did a quick exterior wax job, cleaned interior parts/seats, washed windows inside and out, applied more rain-x, finished painting the front grills with glitter (did it a little heavier this time so it shows up better & also applied clear to protect it a little, andddddddddd changed my inlays :)

Yes, I painted the GT with purple nail polish, only it didn't turn out so purple.
I kinda forgot about it and when I had everything else purple on there, it looked stupid, so I improvised.

I would have gotten the PC out of the box and attempted using it for the first time today, but I didn't have that kinda time to devote doing all the steps needed.

Oh yeah...and spoiler still hasn't been dropped off, grrrr!
I had it in the back seat but had to take it out because I need to use my car to pick up a customer this week for work and didn't think it'd look very good having that taking up the seat. Soooo....I will probably text the guy again this next weekend.
I said I wasn't in a hurry, but this nice weather is making me anxious!
