• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Danielle's 99 GT :)

Doubt she's going to install it with all the snow we got in Nothern indiana. been snowing for like 12 hours

I didn't try polishing outside, I have access to a heated shop for that.
I tried washing it outside when it was 7*, that was a fail.

Anyways....Yes, as JDrach said, its been snowing like crazy and its cold.
Trunk of car is covered in ice and I work this weekend.
I'm gonna try and aim to get it test fitted in the next week, just depends on weather.
And as Scott said, its still in need of paint which won't be happening anytime soon.
But it looks so sexy!

I don't think (better not be) it's warped, it's just the angle I had it laying on the box.

I know it's gonna have angles that it's gonna look funny at, but I think that it's going to change the car a lot.
Especially once the tips get put on :)

Hrmmm.... silver... like my car...

:th_sinister: Yes... YESSSSS It IS warped... I'll give you $5.00 +shipping to me, you know... for your troubles...
(insert evil laugh)

Wrong! It's primer gray. I haven't got a chance to test fit it yet, maybe sunday if its nice out.

So..no, you cant buy it :)

No. lol
Start talking $150 + shipping and I might consider, but probably not.
Ray, if I shipped it to you to paint...I'd probably never get it back. You'd paint it blue instead, lol

I got to looking at it, and it doesn't have the nylon screw/thread inserts in it to hold the bolts when attached to the deck lid...can I remove the old ones from stock spoiler and re-use them? (maybe mine doesn't even have them and I'm dreaming)
If not, I'm sure I can find something at the hardware that would work. Or does it not even need those and I'm thinking wrong?

theyre called nut-serts, i guess you could? post a picture of the bottom of this thing.

no i haz daytona spoiler, i would paint white and ship back lol

I will post a picture maybe tomorrow, or maybe Sunday if I get it out again to do a test fit.
I never thought to take a picture of the bottom when I was taking the other ones.

I vaguely remember, but pretty sure it just had all the holes...don't recall seeing any threads tapped into them either.

I know. Its getting to dark to do anything by the time I get home form work. And Friday afternoon I leave for Indy and won't be back till late Saturday night.
So Sunday presents itself for the next daytime picture taking/teasing/thread fail opportunity.

For the bolts you could contact PFYC and see if they can ship you a replacement set of mounting hardware.

Just saying

Great idea! I didn't even think about that.
I sent them an email, so I'll see what happens.

At this current time, on Sunday I'm still planning on pulling stocker off to do a test fit :)

The lid shouldn't be to bad actually. I did the drain mod and cleaned it up last April.
However, now that I have a PC, when the new spoiler is finally painted and ready for install, I plan on doing it again and actually polish/seal/wax the lid prior to install.

And yes I will take pictures and post them :)
The new tips might even get thrown in some shots too (not installed yet, so not sure how well that will work)
