Danielle's 99 GT :)

Re: Danielle's 99 GT (sneak peek)

Those tips look great. You should definitely get them.

As far as the black headlights, don't get the ebay versions. The chrome reflector is smaller which means less light. If you want black headlights just paint a stock set. That will still keep your light output the same.

HID's output more light than high beams. they be blinding people even with black headlights. shell be fine.

Re: Danielle's 99 GT (sneak peek)

And I love those tips more and more each time I look at them.

I have a set that I made using tips from a corvette muffler. They look like those and I had them on my 02 GP. There stainless steel and need cleaned up a little though. I would sell them cheap to you.

Re: Danielle's 99 GT (sneak peek)

If those tips are chrome, then I'd look for a similar design in stainless. I'm guessing they're chrome at $60. You're in Indiana, right? That means they'll rust from the salt spray.

Re: Danielle's 99 GT (sneak peek)

The ones i posted are stainless steel. And yes, Indiana is right. Awful salt. Thank god it isn't bad yet since I haven't had a chance to get protection on the car since fall. Hoping it holds off thru next Sunday.

Re: Danielle's 99 GT (sneak peek)

Haha, I would but I don't wanna have to cut the fascia for them to fit
So ill rock the 3.5" like a boss-ette lol

Re: Danielle's 99 GT (sneak peek)

I didn't either.

Mine sat just right and the only issue I had was they melted the bumper just a smidge...which you didn't even see since it was tucked away.

Gotta get at it like a boss. :D

These pretty little things showed up today

Can't wait to see what the both look like polished up when I have more time.
The first one went really well

Boyfriend got the wiring switched on the keyless entry to work with the parking lights instead of headlights.
Also got the HID harness installed.
Just waiting on time to try and get the fogs wired to be on with brights since I have no brights.

That is all....

oh yeah, be prepared for a large update on Sunday.
She's going to spend some quality time with the PC :th_thumb-up:

I think they are real deal. Chad (02 35thle) said they came off a vette and he had them on his gp.
I can't wait to get them on the car!
They look amazing in person.

Ray ray, what iz you stealing?

It works great. I didn't mind pulling the fuse over this idea, but I still wanted lights and horn so I knew it was working. And I can see it at night.
So we opted for this.
I held the flash light, and it took him maybe 10 minutes including finding the wires and all that jazz.
(cheap fix too!)

Tips...idk when they will go on. I want them on now, but I'm not sure when lol.
I wanna get the cleaned up really really well before then so cleaning maintenance on them is easier.
I can probably bat my eyelashes and beg and get them done soon :)
