Cubby hole to left of the steering wheel

Alright guys, idk about you, but in my 99 GTP there's a small cubby hole to the right of the headlight switch and to the left of the steering wheel and i cant for the life of me figure out what you could possible fit in there except for a lighter. Any ideas? lets hear what you store in there.

Nothing in the left one. In my right one I keep my key. I hate using keys, so I unlock it with the button in my pocket, then grab the key in the cubby, and start the car. Heck, half the time, I just leave the key in the ignition. (I live in an honest neighborhood)

i dont have a cubby on the right side as its for my HUD adjustment, but on the left side i keep my happy knob ^_^

Left side and right side for the non-HUD equipped cars is pretty much worthless.

Here is what I did on my left one:

I need to redo it though, I don't like it, but not bad for a first one.

I removed the cubby hole totally and then used some scrap ABS plastic sheets i had laying around. The main dash surround holds in the switch panel when thats snapped in to place. Other I know have bolted or glued in their switch panel.

So, thats what I have to share with this thread.

um, i use it to store these 2 nifty little rubber mats... its amazing, they fit perfectly!!!

but i am going to be using it for switches soon...

I had the switch for my neons in the left side one..and nothing in the right on my old GT...now I have a GTP, and have the HUD controls on the right and nothing on the left

I have been deciding what to do with mine too. The HUD is in my right side. Right now the left has change for tolls.

Funny my Hud is right there on the left side
