The cruise control is sporadically not engaging. No idiot lights, nothing on the DIC, just doesn't work, then after a key cycle or two, it does.

Any ideas?
 


Simple checks- be sure both bulbs in the 3rd brakelight are working and the fuse is good/clean/tight. Might also want to check the brake switch to be sure it isn't sticking since IIRC the cruise will not engage if it thinks you are pressing the brake pedal.
