My car has had a slow coolant leak for a while and I have to refill it about 1 time a week which doesn't bother me but today after school I started the p.o.s and it sounded like the engine was gargling water when I got home from school (less then a 2 mile drive) I went to open the hood but before I did I saw a 6 inch wide puddle of coolant and the car had been parked for about a minute I have an idea of where the leak is coming from and have pictures but dont know how to post them and have no clue how to fix the leak I need some help guys

if the tank cracked on the side of the rad, nothing will fix that leak. or slow it down.

dry it up all nice, run it and watch for the leak source. pin point where its coming from.

I have searched many times and thats the most accurate spot possible that I've seen for a leak. And yes something that you pour into the radiator

i wouldn't... That definitely will not stop an external leak.

quit beating around the bush and fix it properly before you **** something else up pouring **** in there

dude your in PA go hit a junk yard up, they are cheap warrantied and you learn how to take it out on a car thats not yours. win win all day long.

You aren't far from wegotused.com aka Harry's yards. Look at the specials..you can likely get a radiator for under $30

Bring an
10mm socket
13mm socket
15mm socket
Ratchet
15mm open end wrench
16mm open end wrench
17mm open end wrench
18mm Open end wrench
Nice sharp razor knife
Pair of wire cutters
Small pick

Remove the support bars from the struts to front
Cut the wires going to the level sensor on the passenger side
Remove the fans with 10mm, throw them on ground
Remove the trans line fittings. Either using the pick or a wrench depending on it's type.
Cut radiator hoses
Remove radiator hold downs 10mm
Remove the two motor mounts from the front of the car and at the engine (13mm and 15mm)
Rip wiring harness off front support to make room to pull radiator
Lift radiator out and smile.
