• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Confirm what all has been done to my car, help solve the mysteries!

Well I have a better picture however cant seem to figure out how to get it to upload (or at least delete previous images on the manager). Photobucket is blocked here at work for what ever reason so can not upload it that way. But will get a better picture us soon and yes does look to be mounted to the trans.

Ok, got a picture up even though it is huge you can see the shock that goes down and mounts to the trans. It must be to take most if not all movement out of the motor and trans as I can not flex anything by hand. Does make sense I have just never seen it anywhere else before on these cars or any vehicle for that matter.

thats doing 100% nothing.

and wtf is up with the upper rad hose? get a new one that fits right.

I'm going to argue with that, it is doing something, now is that something that is happening serving an essential function? probably not, is it serving a function, yes. do these cars benefit from that function? maybe.

could I be any more ambiguous?

Awesome! nothing like adding pointless stuff and calling it a modification lol. Now on to my next issue...SC belt looks to be rubbing pretty good on what I am assuming is fill inlet for the inter cooler setup and I am not sure how to go about correcting that. Belt seems to clear the coil bracket now but my thought was to possibly bump up a pulley size to try to get it off the pipe and avoid the rubbing but then may hit else where? I have been searching around for pictures to try to determine the intercooler setup and what all it is and how its configured, ect. I have instructions in the paper work that are for the stage 2 zzp setup but current online picts dont quite look the same but of course, design and what not most likely changed in the past 10 years. Any ideas? Thanks!

fixing that belt rub the right way is going to take a good amount of work. the idea behind the fill port is that by having it high in the system, it will be easier to bleed the air out of the system, but that location is bad for obvious reasons. if it was my car, I would completely reroute the intercooler hoses.

This is the only other one I have now but will get more and did around in the engine bay and underneath the car more as well. The pluming itself to the pump and front mount does seem to be pretty messy.

I wouldn't mind doing a complete reroute for the hoses eventually so I can familiarize myself more with the system and clean it up a bit. Think a quick temp fix for the rub could be resolved bumping up the pulley size or just a waste of money? Assuming I measured correctly...the pulley diameter is 2 3/4 inches across...would that be like a 2.8? I have only got into higher boost twice with the car and do believe I feel quite a bit of slippage as well and figured a larger pulley may help there as well.

the other thing I noticed is that small diameter hose that seems to come off the fill port area, I would hate to think that it is actually part of the intercooler coolant flow hoses.

the cheapest temp fix would be to take the supercharger belt off.

Do believe it is...it seems to run over to and behind the rad to the drivers side of the front mount and then I loose it from there I think. There seems to be a lot of hoses tied into all this...more than I would think but then again I dont know what all is involved.
