The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
Um, a rack for your specific year??? Not sure what else crosses with it as manufacturers have a nasty habit of making mid year changes to things or even using different fittings/locations on other cars in the same platform.
Best to stick w/ a true reman. Delco rack. Then you just have to figure out if you have Magnasteer or not.
Dont pay more for the Delco reman. rack. They (Delco) get thiers from the same suppliers as everbody else, I learned this when searching for a rack for my car.
Everything on the front suspension? Shocks and struts would probably help a lot. Your probably getting loose steering confused with body roll. My cars steering is pretty tight.
If you feel like you have excessive slop in the steering wheel you could replace the tie rods and/or try and tighten the tie rod end.
Back the jam nut off the tie rod end and screw them on a little more. Suspension wise, just make sure everything else is tight and not worn out. That includes the lower and upper mounts and the ball joints.
No its not a sports car, its a front heavy, FWD family car. The steering is what it is. If you have replaced anything that can have slop, then that is what you have.
