Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Comp G an HD trans?

Everything supercharged got the hd. If you have paddle shifters though then I think you have a different valve body but it's still an hd.

Thanks. Reason I'm asking is because I had my trans rebuilt and new TC installed. It's about two months later and i can't shift over 2500 rpm. Just slips. On the receipt he has written 4T65E w/othe HD. Winding if that could be my issue for that.

Make sure you beat the hell out of it if they tell you nothing is wrong so you can break it really good lol

Your Comp G has a different trans (same internals, but different valve body and gearing and a few other small thing) than a normal GTP car.

I bet the shop didnt know that or some of the parts they installed failed, or they failed to rebuilt it right the first time.

Technically all these transmissions are rebuilt with nearly the same build kits. Non HD and HD are all the same clutches etc. The differences are in the size of the differential (which is usually not replaced) and the gearing on the drive and driven gears. Those will have a 35/35 tooth count on a Comp G trans just like an Non-hd trans and the differential is where the gear ratio comes from.

Thanks for all the info. It's really appreciated. Wouldn't the shop know its different from the tag on the trans?

What I'm telling you is..if they just punched up the kit they used..it might say non hd and that's the same kit as it would be for an hd. Same parts.. non-issue on what it's called.
