• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

College tuition is cheaper.

Re: GTP on a college budget. Wrecked 3/3

Fix the back yet?

If you haven't touched ANY of the exhaust...a downpipe or at least some flipped upper mounts and a u-bend delete should take care of most of that knock.

Re: GTP on a college budget. Wrecked 3/3

I'm trying to find a new trunk lid but there's not a whole lot around here. If I can get the trunk lid and another bumper, or sand down and replace mine it won't be too bad. I submitted a request for further investigation on the case, but I'm still pretty SOL.

Blueguy: I have a 3" catless DP on. I tried flipping my mounts but they just started to tear right away so I left them. My goal is just to get to a 3.5" pulley. I'm not doing anything extreme, just want a little more out of the car.

Re: GTP on a college budget. Wrecked 3/3

If it's knocking now, a pulley is the last thing you want.

Get rid of that crappy canned PCM, get a DHP or a custom tune.

Then, get some poly squares...you really don't need the upper bushings if you don't want them.

Get a 180*, and some AL605's...gap them @ .050" if you haven't yet. Also, if the lower motor/trans mounts have never been replaced, get those done too.

Re: GTP on a college budget. Wrecked 3/3

if you want I have a tuner and if you cover the cost of credits I will work to get a good tune in your car for this altitude. believe it or not the canned tunes are crap for up here

Re: GTP on a college budget. Wrecked 3/3

That would be awesome man. I'll shoot you a text here soon and we can work something out time wise.

Well, yesterday was our weekly meet in Denver. Spent the day getting the cars cleaned up. My buddy finally took his firehawk out of storage for the summer. I got my junkyard door painted, and went for a little shoot before it started snowing today.

Re: GTP on a college budget. Wrecked 3/3

There is a stripped black GTP in one of the yards here, iirc the trunk and rear bumper were still in decent condition. Taillights were either gone or looked like ass.

Re: GTP on a college budget. Wrecked 3/3

I specifically avoid all rear end pictures lol. Even at that I back into every parking spot that I can. Self conscious about my a$$.

You should be. That dress makes you look fat.

Re: GTP on a college budget. Wrecked 3/3

Trunk and spoiler are in good condition, bumper is in okay condition has a few spots where the paint is chipped. $50 for trunk and I forgot to ask about the bumper.

U Pull It Rapid City SD. I'm like 6 hours from Denver. Google says 351 miles from Fort Collins to Rapid City, ~5 hour 30 min

Re: GTP on a college budget. Wrecked 3/3

I gotta get caught up on some bills first, but might be able to make the drive up there in the next couple of weeks. I'll let you know. If you can get me a price on the bumper too that would be great. Might as well get it all if I'm there.

Re: GTP on a college budget. Wrecked 3/3

I'll head back out there some day when its not so wet and muddy out there.

Re: GTP on a college budget. Wrecked 3/3

No. I needed mufflers period. The person who owned it before me had it piped without mufflers. So I just welded them on for the time being.
