alright, heres the deal. car had been running wierd the last day or two, today i noticed it shifting a little harder then normal, more jerky, and sometimes it would shift down when it didnt need to, and drop below 1500 rpms goin like 35. never did that before, hasnt had rough idle or anything, seemed to run fine until the last drive i was on where i got all these codes on the way back home, where it really started running odd, almost seemed like tranny was ****ting itself. these are the codes

p0243, p0403, p0405, p0742, and p0010(the 0010 code only displayed the second time i scanned DTCs, not the first, then went away after the second time and didnt come back, i scanned it like ten times after that, driving, and parked in the garage)

i looked it up, and this is what i found out for the codes

p0010 - "A" Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit (Bank 1)

P0243 Turbocharger Wastegate Solenoid A Malfunction

P0403 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Circuit Malfunction

P0405 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor A Circuit Low

P0742 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Stock On

so again p0010 went away, for now i guess. it was shifting all wierd, i heard a grinding type noise when it shifted down when i pulled into my apartment complex, and i am getting a **** ton of part throttle kr to, example, gave it a tiny bit of gas to get around a guy goin like 40, it jumped up to 3.5. gettin on the highway, at maybe 1/3 throttle, it went all the way up to 5.9, then went away when it got close to shifting.. so i have NO CLUE whats goin on..

Yeah, he's taken awhile to respond to me, but he stays busy too...you might send him an email telling him whats up, and try to have him send you a .bin file...

if you have someone who can rewrite the PCM, you could use that file, and see if it cures it.

And he hasn't ignored it...he's just taking his time XD.

Was there any difference immediately after the rocker install??

K, Just in my experience whenever you change something, you typically have the problems right away....

The only thing I can really think of is either there's something F***ed up in the PCM, or somewhere the wiring harness is torn up/burned. I know when I did my header install, I accidentally left the coolant temp sensor wire hang on the headers, and it burned it to all hell, and threw a few codes.

I'd go and check your wiring harness really quick, since it's pretty simple to do.

nothin is on the headers. the are 100% clear. and i went out to check fuses rescanned with just a code reader NOT the aerforce, and it only displayed p0742

Hmmm....Can you reset the codes with the code reader, and reset the PCM? Then start the car and see if you pull any codes after that....

i did that. cleared em, started it, shifted thru gears. nothing. BUT, i just realize. last week i had unplugged the egr with the car on, it probably set those two and just didnt turn the light on, and i had also capped of the bbv at one point, so thats probably the 0243. as far as why it flashed 0010, i dont know, and that still doesnt explain why im gettin a **** ton of part throttle kr, when i wasnt before

hmmm.....It may be that since the rocker install keeps the valves open longer, and it's not tuned, you could possibly be running lean....but I don't really see it causing that much knock at partial throttle....

yeah. anyway, this is ****ed. i need a tcc replacment. everyone says i might as well replace the trans cuz its ****ed. GOD DAM IT I DONT HAVE 2 GRAND!!

What about replacing the solenoid itself? You do a shift kit? While I haven't been in one of these transmissions before, it's probably on the valvebody. Could be a fix it in your driveway sort of thing.

And did you get a bad tank of gas perhaps? That would cause a bunch of KR.

i have some techron in the gas right now,

i took it to aamco, probably will be replacing the solenoind and that pressure valve or whatever, and maybe the converter itself. hopefully just the solenoind tho. my weekend depends on TODAY dammit. they better get this done.
