Cobalt ss tc v. Trans am

So my grand prixs been gone for a while glad that headache is over, bought my new cobalt a couple weeks ago and the real first test was against a Trans am
So im minding my own business just trying to get home im on a 4 lane high way if thats what you wanna call it... several stoplights its a beautiful thing
So this Trans am flies up on my right than we get stuck at a light looked at him and it was obvious he was interested in trying to show off cause a cobalt has no chance in hell... or so he thought. So light turns green i punch it spin all the way through first throw it in second and im neck and neck with him all the way to 100ish then we got stuck at another light. He was all smiling and stuff cause he thought he had the edge and was showing off to his gf, But all im thinking is his v8 just almost got beat by a 4 banger so i was more than happy. After i drove away i remembered i forgot to use my no lift shift (as i shift i keep my foot down on the pedal to keep the turbo spooled to the next gear i.e. pretty cool feature gm came up with) so im just wondering how it would of ended if i would of used that
 


i head that too and like u i swore off 4 bangers when i was 16 ha but im glad ur happy w ur ride...after all its american so i approve
 


Well the four bangers you swore off before probably didnt come from the factory with 21 psi of boost either lol
 


This cobalt is ridiculously easy to make faster just a few quick changes in the tune and a new intake can take it to a whole new place

and dont worry i got more video being posted today from yesterdays auto-x placed first in my class of three cars and placed 10th for time of the whole day at 32.1 best time was a 29.7

yea i wasnt a fan at first but i wasnt aware that 1. there was a SS and 2. The numbers it put down after that i was sold
