any body out here have a set of blacked out retros with yellow fogs? I'm working up on saving for a set of retros now. Probably gonna order sometime in September. I'm getting fed up with the worthless stock lights.

I will soon have pretty close. Black housings, orange shrouds, and below 3000k fogs. I'm just waiting on the retro to get finished. You can see what the 3000k looks like in my sig down there VVVV

The actual retro work shouldn't take that long I'm saying a week at most working on it here and there. How long you been waiting you've said you've been waiting for a while now..... lets get her done already!

Only a week so far, but he hasn't had time to work on them much yet. Although he said they'd be done this weekend.

Looks great Josh........... it does help to plug the bulbs in before you say to yourself something doesn't work :th_laugh-lol3:

I'm always here if you need advice or pointers. I say get 4300k or 5000k in those bad boys. Then get some mori 880 5000k HID fogs pronto.....:D

You're more than welcome to post pics in my thread. After all this is why I'm here right. I'm sure he will do a good job for you he seems like a good guy. Always been super nice to me anyways.......... can't wait!

He did say he cut a bit of the top of the housings like you were talking about and that it did make a difference in eliminating cross-beam. Unfortunately I made the mistake of buying the mini graphites thinking it was just a different color mini gatling, so i guess we're waiting on new shrouds.

Cutting the top of the housing doesn't have anything to do with cross beam. Cutting the top of the housing lets you get the appropriate rotation. However trimming the top edge of the mori projector housing is a much, much cleaner and easier way to obtain the extra adjustment for the rotation. You shouldn't have to be cutting into the top of the capsule whatsoever.......

That's what I meant, he said he trimmed the projector housing at the top.

Looks pretty good Josh one may need to come up a tad or down a tad depending on how high you want them. Imagine how bright 4300k mori's would be..... Now get those HID fogs ordered and you're set.....

damn those look amazing,
still think they would look better on (my) a little colored car(white like mine)..but either way look really good

in the proess of saving up for it, im grad from college next next and so i have to wait untill all that stuff is taking care of, with no income its hard to save
