Finished retro, i like it, but I'm sure clean see's 100 problems i don't, cause that's how he is
Just sayin I don't put out retro's with cracked lips and shrouds that weren't sanded before paint. I also use the nylon washer to seal the back of the housings, anything wrong with that? Go hit those capsules up with a high pressure wash a few times....
On a side note it does look good from a distance, however mine look good from 3inches away and from distance. Like I said you get what you pay for.... now post your output pics I'll be waiting. Don't come to my thread and trash talk me Sean... I was simply pointing out a few things. If you're cool with how it looks then that's all that matters but I wouldn't put out a retro like that...... Everyone is entitled to their own opinions I simply stated mine don't have to get your panties in a bunch.....

Can't even compare the work, you get cracked lip, shrouds that weren't sanded before paint (takes 3 minutes), no nylon washer which means they're not mounted correctly, and I've seen no cutoff pics yet. You paid $40 bucks for your work, you got a good deal but hardly perfection... that's all I have to say until I see your output pics.

No, not at all.
And for the record, that picture is grainy, the shrouds are nice and smooth, the paint is also metallic, and when I got them they had nylon washers on them. I'm fine with the lip because it sealed nicely and once the lens was on you could no longer see it.
It's all good.

That a boy that's what I like to hear. I have the stuff to redo my own retro but when fastpaced sent me the 3in DP it was part of the deal for me to send him my oem cat for payment. I used up every single dremel bit I had cutting the cat out of the stock dp :th_laugh-lol2:. Don't have a cutoff wheel and hacksaw wouldn't have sliced thru a stick of butter....
I may go pick up a new dremel set today and start my flat black shrouds and housings. I can't take the chrome madness anymore.....
