Just wanted to post this as a product update. The Morimoto H1 projectors will no longer have this bi-xenon connector on it.

All Morimoto H1 projectors now have the 9006 connector for the bi-xenon function on them which means that you will need the 2 40amp 12vdc relay harness that TRS now sells. You can still make the old connector work if you get a different relay harness say ddm or vvme relay harness (which I don't recommend). You'd simply have to order 9006 pigtails from TRS and solder the 9006 connectors on the old relay harness and mori H1's if you've got a pair with the connector pictured above.

Also just another note, TRS is no longer in Columbus Ohio. They moved the complete business to Atlanta Georgia. Stinks for me because I used to get ground packages in 1 day. Then again I don't blame them from moving their business out of Ohio.......

Nick took this a bit ago, tis my retro. picking them up tomorrow.

I guess you get what you pay for, not cheap shotting anyone but that shroud is all hacked up. Didn't even sand the edges before the shrouds got painted. I also don't see the nylon washer on the back of the projector that keeps moisture from entering the back of the housing. Also your lip on that capsule is looking cracked to hell? Is he not going to fix the lip before he seals them up because you will see this. OCI butyl tape for sealant only and when you get squeeze out it will not look even because of that cracked lip..... Just my 2 cents which is worth well..... about 2 cents:D

I didnt notice any of it, i think it looks good, better than I expected. I'm going to assume the average joe isn't going to notice a bit of it either.
Also I'm sealing them because both our cars have been wrecked in the past so the mounts aren't going to line up at all, so I need to adjust them on my own car yet.

I don't think it looks good at all but it's just my opinion. You don't see the 2 giant cracks on the lip at the bottom of your capsule. You don't see the shrouds with melted plastic on the edges? Looks majorly rushed to me I hope you're not paying much for that work but then again I wouldn't expect somebody to have a clue on their first retro. Telling ya right now you better get the nylon washer on the back of that projector before you seal them up......

Also one more note if you have to rotate the projector towards the fender for a level cutoff you will have to cut the right edge of the shroud looking at the capsule from the front

This is a housing that was sent to me by a customer.....

This is the capsule after I repaired it properly....

You can see what happens when the nylon washer isn't installed or properly installed on the back of the projector.... trust me the adapter and lock ring will let water in without it!

cant wait to try my set, maybe ill order a spare set of headlights next week

Just get some from the junkyard. As long as they bodies are in good shape, you can customize them to hell, and if the retro turns out good, you can just take the lenses off the ones you have if need be.

i cant, there are NEVER 04+'s in the junk yards here, trust me ive been after an exhaust hanger for months

ill just pick up a new pair from amazon for cheap
