Clark's GTP "WHINER" LOWERED ON COILS 18X9.5'S

Re: Clark's 2002 gtp

Because it was just recent. And I Remeber the day it happened I was getting ready for school and my mom started yelling and screaming and told me to come watch the tv and I saw the other plane hit the tower on live tv. It was a sad sad event same with the shooting nothing too exciting or that drastic happens up here in Canada just cold winters and bad roads babah

Re: Clark's 2002 gtp

it was sad. i was sitting on the couch eating a smores poptart petting my dog. waitign for the bus. and " breaking news" see the towers blow up.. and my aunt was almost there.. she was gunna get on a flight to work in one of them. and everytimei think about it. i couldve lostmy aunt.plus its sad all those people that died..and yah one of the guys at teh ceremony got to talk. he was a the father of a girl they were honoring that died in the towers i think. there was a bus there that was named " kelleys bus" itwas pissing me off how disrespectfulmy coworkers were being

Re: Clark's 2002 gtp

And my recommendation is of you are going to get coils defiantly ask for the stiffer spring rate from the company who manufactures them for zzp I think they are westshorefabricators because the spring rate they come with is just garbage if you want to go any lower than factory you will bottom out on the smallest of bumps... I have my stiffer springs on the way I will post an update about how it changes them. But ya coils as is from zzp garbage don't recommend them unless the stiffer springs help a lot the car is almost not driveable

What spring rate did you go with? I had 400# up front and 350# in the back and I felt like i still needed stiffer springs

Re: Clark's 2002 gtp

It's probably because I was trying to ride around too low haha, but that spring set up handles awesome

Re: Clark's 2002 gtp

the funny part is that you guys have 400/350 springs and that's the rate i'm about to put on my little baby car.

you need way stiffer, something like 500/400 or more.

Re: Clark's 2002 gtp

I expect no traction on any roads hahah I spin 255's from 60km like its my job. Smoke pours out at 50km when It kicks a downshift. (60km is 38mph and 50km is 31mph) for all you Americans haha

Re: Clark's 2002 gtp

Yea I have no bump stops it just Bangs! Haha I don't know why I could make some out of but I should probs do that. But then some travel will be lost but it won't hit so hard

Re: Clark's 2002 gtp

i bet you have bump stops. it would feel like your hitting a brick wall without bump stops.

Re: Clark's 2002 gtp

riding on the bump stops is a very hard ride, harsh even.

if you're bottoming out the strut and going metal to metal, you'd break things very quickly.
